Dear Stiffnecks!

I pledge to start my own bird list on my last trip to KNP and donate 25 Rand for each species I would find. Now could you please help me to ID the following birds properly? :pray:

Need help with this one please. Taken this morning near Croc Bridge - it was far away - have cropped it to get a better view. Was therefore quite large. Could it be a juv. fish eagle?

Spot on with the maybe. An Imm African Fish-Eagle. In one of the final moults before full adult plumage if not the final moult. Nice one!

Hi Anne-Marie,

The second bird is a Juv African Fish-eagle. (face and neck pattern, wing pattern, general shape and bill size and shape).
