Kalahari Scrub Robin (Erythropygia paena)

Found in southern Angola, Botswana, Namibia, northern South Africa, and Zimbabwe, where it occurs in sandveld with low trees and scrub, on the edges of woodland, and in savanna. The species is common and not considered threatened by human activities.

I was surprised that there's not a topic (or did I miss it? ) for this bird, so here are a few from my visit to Mokala in late October 2012.
