Extract from out trip report The Stewart Clan in Kruger Oct 2011:

Onto the S29 and then the S82, where Matt spotted something in the road...
As we got closer we realised it was a Bateleur!? It was just laying in the road, with 2 Eagles that we could not identify, circling above it. After about 10 minutes, it got up and started displaying and screeching so loudly. It did this for another 10 minutes before standing in the road and rocking. We tried to move a bit closer, to check for any injuries it may have, or why it might be doing this, but it flew off into a nearby tree and soon the other eagles lost interest and left too. It was all very strange!?

Wow Arie, thanks for all the info!
Really didn't know all of that.
I was going to ask if all of you could let me know if this is a bateleur, but I shouldn't have second guessed myself. 100% sure that it's a bateleur now :)
