I like the new "twist" questions :D .... as long as they don't become more than the ID's... the challenge should still be mainly about bird identification.

I am 100% for the new format, however only if it does not put additional strain on Johan who already goes out of his way to put together the original challenges

You mean we now have to READ birdbooks, rather than have to look at the pictures

Typically from my considerate SO, but I agree with him.

I like the new format, but maybe no more than 3 bonus questions each week?

I dont mind either way, love the new format, but as has already been said, as long as it does not put too much strain on JvR, these challengers are a huge amount of work anyways, and with the additional questions, dont want him to put too much overtime into each one.

I agree with mel123, and this should also help Johan avoid spending too much time and effort on the challenge as some 'mites are worried about

it will also help the 'mites to not spend too much time on the challenge

Can I change my vote from "yes" to "no"? :hmz: ...

It's just that.... after days of struggling to ID LBJ's, juveniles, juvenile LBJ's :slap: , birds without eyes or with "bad-hair days" , I just don't have any patience (or spare time  ) left for the "twists".... :|

Besides, it is still the ID's that are the most fun :D

As a fairly novice I don't always have the time to spend on the obscure challenges. I am often reading the answers later though and enjoy the new information.
