Brown-backed Honeybird / Skerpbekheuningvoël / Prodotiscus regulus

Breeding: It is a brood parasite. Hosts include cisticolas and warblers, all spp with spherical nests.

Habitat: Savanna, open woodland, thickets, thorn scrub and forest edges.

Foraging & Food: Gleans insects from foliage and twigs in the canopy; also forages in tall grass in swampy meadows. Hovers around flowers, sometimes hawks insects like a flycatcher.
