Hi. I hope somebody could help identifying the following bird.

Answers to the questions asked in identifying a bird.
1.) Where did you see this animal? (National Park, area of the country.)
Kruger National Park. Taken at Keerwal close to Biyamiti.

2.) In what habitat was it? (Rocks, tree, mountainous, grasland, etc.)
The bird was sitting on the overflow of a low water bridge.

3.) What size was it approx.?
Very Small (10 - 15 cm)

4.) Was it alone?
Yes

5.) What was it doing?
The bird was either looking for food or drinking water.

6.) What time of year / season was it?

I have a few possible ID's, but none of them are found in the Kruger.
[*] Great Knot (Only a single sighting in Southern Africa according to SASOL book. :hmz: )
[*] Ruff (The bird I saw was very small, where the Ruff is 24 - 30 cm :hmz: )
[*] Long-toed Stint (This bird is also not found in Kruger. :hmz: )

Any help will be appreciated... :D

The common sandpiper is the one that comes closest in my opinion, but....not much of a white shoulder patch and the pattern on the breats goes further down :hmz: At least the legs are right
