Dabchick, this was a great learning :thumbs_up:

I have gone to have a look at my hooded vulture in "Best Birding in Kruger". I see that they are relatively rare compared to some species.

In my book, published in 2005, I think, it says there are about 65 in Kruger. They are thought to follow Wilddog and Hyena, so that they can get onto a kill as soon as possible. Compared to other vultures it is rather small... and bullied.

It certainly got everyone buzzing. Now why didn't I go to "Best Birding" sooner?
