Some hazy, some imperfectly focussed pics this week to add reality to the challenge. Instead of a BB, I have gone with a C-Bird for a change, easily seen on a Cape Town pelagic trip... :wink:

Most of you got the C-Bird correct, which was great! It's a beautiful bird and often seen on a Pelagic Trip as mentioned. If you've ever toyed with going on such a trip and can afford to do so, I highly recommend it!

Karoo Thrush (Many of you stumbled at this one. It's a popular misconception - particularly from JHB birders - that these birds are in fact Olive Thrush, but that's not the case. In fact anecdotal evidence shows that the two species are starting to hybridise, particularly in Northern KZN.)
