]Hi Ducklings
Here are the answers to Sky 17

1 ) Meve's starling - no problems here
Image

2) Familiar chat
Image

3 ) Southern Pochard female - just about everyone had this one correct
Image

4 ) Little Grebe - no problems
Image

5) Orange river Francollin - very few problems
Image

6) African darter - Quite a few of you had this one wrong. The bill gives the id away . The neck is ussually also a good indication, but this bird pulled its neck back and it looked much thicker.
Image

7) Cape batis - very few problems
Image

8 ) Just about everyone was fooled by this bird. It looks very much like a common moorhen. This was also my original id when I took the pic. But back at home when looking at it again I noticed my mistake. The upright stance and size also the shape of the head would get you to a juv African swamphen.
Image

9) Buff streaked chat - no problems its juvenile had eveyone guessing last week
Image

10) Lesser swamp warbler - a lot of mites struggled with this one
Image

and the BB was a Chorister Robin

Image -

Thanks again to eveyone that entered
