Sorry Sky, I am not able to do it this week. Just too many things to do before leaving for SA.

I hope to find a decent broad band connection and will re-join in 2013

Hi Ducklings

Here are the answers to Sky 11

1 ) long billed crombec
Image

2 ) Pirit Batis
Image

3) This bird was the difficult one this week. Some of you had this one wrong even though you had it correct with your first impression It's a juvenile Gymnogene / harrier hawk. The size of the head ans the long thin legs were the most important clues

4 ) Puffback
Image

5) Fork tailed drongo
Image

6) Wood Sandpiper
Image

7) Orange throated longclaw still sounds better than a cape lonclaw
Image

8 ) White backed Mousebird

9) Bar throated Apalis

10) Fawn Coloured LarkImage

and the BB a Juvenile Diederic Cuckoo

Congratulations to everyone that entered

And it's father should have told it to shave as well
Then the id would be much easier
A direct translation out of Afrikaans would be something like a Cleanfaced falcon
Lots of feathers in this one
