My time is not my own at the moment, so I will post the answers now and will post the identifying features of the different birds next week. As I am tying this, I am holding my car keys in my hand as I am off to Kruger for the weekend.

Answers are -

# 1 - Allens Gallanule (Blue shield) - Leeupan - KNP
# 2 - Common Ringed Plover - Dickens Pan (Elandsvlei)
# 3 - Tawny Eagle in moulting phase - Northern KNP
# 4 - Black Sparrow Hawk - Pretoria
# 5 - Comb Duck (female) - KNP
# 6- Yellow Wagtail - Northern Farm - Gauteng
# 7 - Black Kite - Interwaste, Midrand
# 8 - Spotted Flycatcher - KNP
# 9 - Greater Honeyguide - Nylsvley
# 10 - Drakensberg Siskin - SANI Pass - KZN/Lesotho

Have a great weekend everybody -

Good score, Hilda :gflower:

Thank you Wildtuinman for the new challenge - something different!
It will certainly get us trawling all the sound effect libraries/apps. Could be good fun :hmz:

Well done Jaytea

While listening I have discovered some bird songs which I had heard but had no idea of their origin. So even if I don't get many correct I have learned a whole lot more by attempting this challenge..... :thanx: Wtm

Still listening........
