Thank you for the answers to #36/2014 Imax! I'm still very satisfied with my score!

Great score for Johan's challenge! And also without using a guide? You people who can do these challenges without using a bird guide amaze me!

Oh my word  I found this topic and being a bird newbie, thought it would be a great way to learn my birds. Phew, so many of them look the same to me. :?

I think I will just remain in the background quietly and learn from you all :? Not much I can contribute I am afraid.

If there happens to be something that I know, I will put my pennies worth in, but I am not very good with the birds!!! Unless it's the obvious.

Welcome to the toughie, Tessa G. It is a great way to learn about our feathered friends  The guys who set these challenges really know their birds

Know the feeling about them looking the same....... Didn't realise there are so many :hmz:

However there is an easier one at Birding School for Ducklings which you can do alongside the hard one. A recent challenge is here

viewtopic.php?f=46&t=35621&start=1552

The answers are a page or so later along with Sky's useful pointers in ID- ing.

Hope you enjoy both sets and look forward to seeing your scores
