Afrikaans: Bergklipwagter

Habitat:
Rocky slopes of hills, ridges, escarpments and mountain foothills with rolling grassland and low scattered bushes.

Habits:
Usually solitary or in pairs, in small groups when not breeding. Lively and conspicuous, often flirting wings and tail on alighting or when alarmed.

Food:
Mostly insects, nectar.

Breeding:
September - February.
