Thanks WTM, I agree the photo isn't really much help. Does the black sparrowhawk have an all-black morph?

Yes, there is an all black morph and it is not too uncommon either.

All sparrowhawks favor tree-covered areas to hunt in and from. They are equipped with short, broad wings and long tails in order to maneuver through this type of habitat to pursue their prey. Hence they are commonly found in residential gardens.

Harriers are all adapted to glide over open wetland and grassland areas where they can drop down on their prey.

I think this is a young Snake eagle.
Seen on 2 December 2014 near Shingwedzi.
