Definitley a Female Red-backed Shrike. The crescentric markings on the breast and flanks are diagnostic. These markings can also be found in juvenile Common Fiscal (Fiscal Shrike) but this bird is much darker in colour

Jonty,

You don't mention where or when you've seen it. What I can tell you is that they are shrikes. The photo does not give me a good enough indication of what shrike.

I would go for Red-Backed. But it could also be a Lesser Grey Shrike.

Do you have a bigger picture for me?

Jonty, they are both female red-backed shrikes.

WTM, clean that screen for a change, man!

The top pic is a juvenile red-backed shrike. The bottom two is of an adult red-backed shrike.

Keep shooting.

Wildtuinman is half way correct.

The last two photos are indeed an adult but a adult male Red-backed Shrike. The one in your first photo can either be a female or juvenile Red-backed Shrike
