We had 4 club jumps this month. Well done to Johan van Rensburg getting his 500, Kameelberd and Yolande getting 400 and Ferdelance getting 100 and reaching his target .

The villains are all the dormies out threre, come on post your total!

JenB and Batmad is still racing head long to 300, but Kingfishergirl is giving Batmad a go. Dotdan and Cherries seems to race along nicely now.

Ok so I’ve had a really special month. 2 weeks birding in Kruger, long weekend birding in Southern KZN and last weekend birding at vaalkop dam. So a great climb for me and I reached my 300 mark....

Ok so i missed my year target by one, and got my life list up to 349, my 2010 target is 450

I totaly missed my target with only 237 out of the 250 needed but ag it's just fine!

Went to Rietvlei Dam Nature Reserve yesterday and added 9 Lifers including Pied Starling, Marico Flycatcher, Yellow-crowned Bishop, Long-tailed Paradise-Whydah, Pin-tailed Whydah, Southern Grey-headed Sparrow, Green Wood-hoopoe, Steppe Buzzard and for some odd reason I can't remember the other one now!!

So I'm up to 246, with a trip to Lower Sabie in a few days time (with hopefully plenty to see!)

After visits to Sishen, Zeerust, Suikerbosrand and the KNP via Strydom Tunnel's Taita Falcon : , my total is now 439. I am sure that after January's KNP birding weekwend it should top 450.
