Crested Guineafowl

Unread postby Readles » Tue Aug 18, 2009 7:38 pm

Dear all

Don't know whether this is posted in the right place. We are staying just outside Croc Bridge at the moment and on the H5 just off the main Croc Bridge/Lower Sabie Road we saw a Crested Guineafowl. Are these supposed to occur down south.

Just to make you jealous, we saw two leopards on the S25 between Byamiti and Croc Bridege this evening.

Crested Guineafowl are definitely found in the south, but as for the Leopard....are you sure?

Hi Readles,
I've seen Crested Guineafowl on the Mahonie Loop at Punda Maria and south of Swaziland but not southern Kruger. Good to know they're there so I'll keep looking.
