7 out of 10 for Sky 15. I would never have got anywhere close to no.9 if it hadn't been for Sky's pointer. All those little baby BBs look the same to me!

Thanks Sky, your pointers are always very helpful.

Hi Ducklings

Here are the answers to Sky 15 . The birds I had problems with held no fear for you , but then some of the ones I thought would be easy gave problems.

1) African black oystercatcher no problems
Image

2) Black Crowned night heron - no problems
Image

3) Cape cormorant - no problems I thought I would catch you with this one
Image

4) Marsh Sandpiper - Very few problems here
Image

5) Gurney Sugarbird - I picked this pic because the tail was hidden a few prolems here
Image

6) Ruff - no problems
Image

7) Cape Spurfowl and the BB was it's young
Image

8 ) Jackal buzzard - easy one no problems
Image

9) Red throated wryneck - I thought quite easy and a lot of problems here
To me the outstanding feature pointing me to the wryneck was the stripe running from ot's head down to it's back. The upper parts greyish brown
Image

10) A Juvenile bearded vulture. This also gave some problems
Image

Thanks again for everyone that entered I hoped you learned something new.

It looks as if the ducklings is either very busy :hmz: :hmz: or they are struggling :wall: :wall: with Sky 16

It is baby time on the farm at the moment. The spotted eagle owl has 2 chicks.
Today I also saw a Spurwinged goose with about 10 young ones, a Cape Shoveller with 9 and a Yellowbilled teal with about the same number.
