Hope someone can help

I am looking to find out what is the distance between Mapungubwe and KNP. I would like to stay in Mapungubwe for a few days and then travel down to KNP. Is that possible?

What is the closest gate at KNP from Mapungubwe ?

I think the closest gate is Punda/Pafuri gates. Where were you hoping to enter KNP?

Doesnt really matter, we have a Conqueror trailer which makes life so easy to camp!

Maybe enter at Punda / Pafuri and travel down the park!? Do you think 10 days are enough time?

Ah yes, your trailer is a lovely way to travel, especially down Kruger. I think 10 days is a comfortable time. It depends on how long you like to set up/stay at a camp, and how many camps you would like to visit.

From Mapungubwe gate to Punda Maria gate, it is 270km.

We actually have a similar trip planned (taking our Conqueror caravan), but the other way around, starting in the south, going out at Punda gate and across to Map

Very good idea indeed.

But I am usually so sad to leave the KNP that I will be very bad company in Mapungubwe ...
