Good day all.
The Mrs and I have just returned from a 6 day stay at Marakele.
We observed a male ostrich "sitting" on eggs as we thought at the time, that be Monday, at Bontle camp. New name dooringfontein.
Last evening we learned that some wonderful soul threw a rock at the ostrich and broke its leg. It died were we had seen it.
Does anybody have any more on the matter.
I do hope that the person responsible will be prosecuted.

Yes, it died about 50m from the restricting poles in the Rhino section of the camping area.
