Hi jumbo65!

No - it is not far to walk to it from the road. A bit of a climb that is all. And no booking needed as far as I know.

It would be a good idea to ask the reception when they will be laying out a carcass again, so you time your visit there to when one is put out.

I went when there was not a carcass out, and had good vulture sightings anyway.

You do just sit in the open, on the ridge (no seating or bird hide structure), and have a good view down over the plateau in front of you and on a clear day can see the Mont-aux-Sources.

Reception tells me they dont know when the farmers will put out carcases,

planning to go ther on thursday

anybody at the restuarant in the past week
