Thanks for putting up all the great photos. Jackalsbessie! This pan is one of the most reliable spots in the Eastern Section for elephants (more readily seen in the Western section). There's always a pair of Klipspringers around and the water edges can provide some awesome birding.

Yes we have seen the Klipspringers there most times and even close to the road 8)

And as you say Joel it is very productive for birds... couple of us saw a Senegal Coucal there in 2007 :dance:
