Oh wow, those February photos are amazing with the river being so full …there was no water at all during our visit in November.
If you are trying to convince people to visit this park more often, you are doing a great job at it! :D

Yes seeing it in the winter and then like this in February was absolutely mind blowing
The river was so full it actually damaged the hide (see this photo of the hide) and therefore was closed and had to be rebuild!

 Yep that is exactly what i'm trying to do!

Just as long as all the people going either take me with or keep some accommodation open for me :rtm:

This really is an awesome park and still relatively undiscovered & quite 8)
Also not far from Gauteng and accommodation types for all budgets!

Hmmmm…Bananarama reunion? :hmz: ….although I do not think it will be wise to take the Wandering Mouse to a place with so many cliffs.

100%
But I think after people looked at all these great photos you posted, the park will not be so undiscovered anymore 8)

Seeing the Great Limpopo flow always just does something to me whether it be Crook's Corner or at the confluence . . . .

A panorama I slapped together.
Taken from the confluence deck in January 2008. On the left you can see the "Sunset" and on the right the "Main" decks.
Please note: clicking on the image will open the "original" which is in excess of 4Mb

A Bananarama get together sounds great :D

But do you think the Park will recover :hmz:

I'm planning to go there at the end of May. I am so looking forward to it. There is something that seem so special and intrigueing about the area. It does sound like a site of special spiritual significance.

You will love this park, MM :D ...it is indeed a very special place..and I’m sure it will “hook” you, liked it’s done to many other...we are actually heading to this park tomorrow for a 4 night stay.
Just be careful where you do your normal MM wandering thing...lots of cliffs around.
