Since many years I visit Addo several times during the year - so far I have never seen a leopard.

Who was lucky enough to spot one? Photos would be very much appreciated!

Me too, you have a bigger chance in winning the Lotto jackpot than seeing a Leopard in the Addo Main Game Area. I've never heard of a Leopard sighting there. Maybe there's a few in the Zuurberg Mountain area....

Hi Bushsbaptist,
One of my pupils, PJ Meyer, told me this week that they saw a leopard at Hapoor a few years ago. It was lying next to the dam for a long time!
Still not been lucky enough to see one.
A parks employee told me a few years a go there was a male in the main area, and a female from Baviaanskloof was kept there in a holding pen, but she broke out.
Have also heard of sightings in the new Matyholweni area.
Maybe we will be lucky next month when I bring my school bus full of photography kids there for 3 days!
God bless,

Friedrich von Hörsten

Also spoke to a ranger 3 years ago and he told us they only had one. As far as i know it was a leopard that was caught in baviaanskloof that was released in the park. Good to know she broke out, as i thought she was released in the park.
