My daughter asked me to post this on her behalf:

Just a recent update as I’m back from one night in the park.
Stayed in chalets this time as camping for one night is a bit of hassle.
When we arrived we went straight for Lammertjiesleegte as it was another 2 hours before check-in.
We were rewarded by lots of zebras, gemsbokke, rooi hartebeest and plenty of kudus.
Had a lovely picnic at Bulkraal and the pool looked very tempting, but it was a bit too cold for that – the facilities at Bulkraal were perfectly cleaned and the pool was sparkling as always (good job Karoo!)

From our chalet we saw some kudus and springbokkies, but unfortunately nothing too exciting on our drive on the Klipspringer pass. The view still is magnificent though and worth the drive.

We would have loved to go on a morning drive, but unfortunately there were no other interested people (it’s a shame that Karoo does not really promote the drives) and R840 for the two of us was just a bit too steep.
So unfortunately no recent updates about the lions and black rhino – but please do post on the forum if you guys spot them as I’ll be back in July (in Afsaal this time :D )

Jonkers, thank you for sharing your experience.
I have been there once and can visualise your experience.
It is a lovely park and would like to visit it again some time.
