Hi All
I intend visiting Bontebok later this week - 20 years since my last visit.
The website makes no mention of the camp site kitchen facilities or ablution facilities ( no pics)
Can someone please advise what the camp site kitchen facilities are? - ie scullary, stove, freezer, hot water for coffee etc?.
Much appreciated
Louis-PE

Hi louvis,

Welcome to the forum.

Pity you didn't post this last week. I was there over the weekend, and would have had a look.

I remember that the camping ablutions are among the best in SANParks, but we didn't use the kitchens.

Maybe give them a ring.

There is however, a magnificent picnic site at Die Stroom, which is as good as I have ever visited. We had it to ourselves most of the time. There are a number of braai sites which we didn't use, and on the stoep of the main building, there are tables & benches in the shade overlooking a lovely piece of river, where we saw fish eagles in flight. The ablutions, including showers, are as good.

BTW, we had a great time there.

Welcome to the forums, Louvis :D

From the Duty Manager, Bontebok National Park :
Quote:
Our camp site do not have a kitchen facility but a small room with wash up facility, power points and wash-up zinc. Our ablutions is fitted with hot water, bath and shower facilities. Campers provide their own cooking facilities and utensils. We have 25 camping sites with power points.
