Hi guys,

We had exceptionally good rains during May and June (93mm vs. the average of 42mm for the previous 5 years!) and Tankwa is bursting into life all over…

Hiya LetsieC, thanks for the link, and yes, it took my breath away. Pics of my happy valley (grew up in Calvinia). The aardvark is magnificent, the donkeys at the waterhole brought back vivid memories, and the yellow carpet covering the Tankwa. Sigh.
