 Post subject: Himalayan Tahrs on Table Mountain

Yes, this "woolly mammoth" thing is a Himalayan Tahr. Still on Table Mountain after many attempts to eradicate them.

Was out climbing last Saturday between Plattekloof and the Cable Way.
Saw this feral Himilayan Tahr which obviously is one of several that escaped the eradication effort in 2005.
I guess they will have to try again.

I see others have been spotted in the same area last year.
