I'm not so sure Yellow-wood trees are the way to go, don't they take forever and a bit to get to any size, never mind becoming a shade tree. Widdringtonia nodiflora The mountain cedar Is also the tree that probably was cut down in large numbers by early colonists for ship building purposes as opposed to the Yellow Wood, and this should be favoured if any trees are to be replanted.
