Augrabies semi-lux units

Unread postby pamelajane » Fri Oct 11, 2013 7:39 am

Has anyone stayed in the Chalets semi-lux (Ch2/4VDS) at Augrabies? I was wondering where they are located as the map does not show these units. The pictures show that they have been upgraded and have TV (not that I want that!) but I do like to stay in Nos 6/7 or there abouts and need to know if they have been changed to semi-luxury . Thanks

WE stayed in the ordinary chalets a month back and as far as I am concerned they were very comffortable . I think the semilux ones are on the side nearer the falls and from the outside look great

@ pamelajane
Hugh is correct that's the chalets close to the falls, chalets 7-14.

I have the exact same opinion, the 'ordinary' chalets are really nice and comfortable

I have stayed in 5 the last years and it is a basic chalet but with the most isolating view and feeling, if you do not want to see the neighbours you won't and the rocks with the dassies or on the doorstep and of course an occasional baboon or two in the kitchen or in the tree gave us the feeling of hitting the jack pot!
