There are some really awesome photos in this thread :clap: ..really high cuteness factor as well. :D I never saw any Bat-eared Foxes nor Cape Foxes on our recent trip through the KTP ( only 2 nights en route from Namibia) but we did see a fair amount of jackals. Herewith one that posed for me...

Jan,

Thanx for the reference by PM (some three weeks ago) to the den of the Cape Fox on the approach to the Urikauus turn-off. This location being on the climb of the dune after you have crossed the riverbed . . . some 300 meters before the Urikaruus turn-off to the left.

Even made a u-turn to make doubly sure that I was at the right place. Allthough the holes were (only just) visible close to the road with fresh spoor all arround . . . the little rascals were no where to be seen at about 10 am that specific morning !
