Hi Jeff,
i just pick up your topic and it sounds like you remember my story.
I also do not remember anymore under which topic i posted it. At least it is in German on my homepage.
It happened in 2007 where he was walking down the street towards rooiputs. (you can see the lions on page 9 on the respective section on the homepage.)
Maybe i will find a hint to the original posting in my forum account.
Anyway, i am still in contact with him and we made friends and visit each other frequently.

I met Regis, the French guy who walked back to the Nossob road earlier this year. I bumped into him a couple of days after he got back to Nossob Camp. Hearing his story in person was a real eye opener for realising what we can all do when pushed to the limit. Hopefully though we shall not hear any more stories like this. :)
