lion queen....great image...still need a Lion with the Porcupine spines :think:
The survive on Porcupines when food is scares and there is always the risk of infection :thumbs_up:

In April 2009 we were staying outside the park. One evening we drove down the Pulai road. After a few Kilometers it became a two track road and we decided to turn round.

As we started back a huge male came over the dune, saw some kids on donkeys and went into stalk mode. The donkeys caught his scent and ran of with kids clinging for dear life!

We followed the lion in reverse for a very very long time. Him walking all along the border fence. Our own sundown gamedrive!! :wink:

These photos I took before it got to dark. This was at 18H30. Not the best quality, but this was through the fence and in very bad light with a mik &druk.
