Following is sightings from the 07/12

Well we found these giraffes at Holombacht waterhole and just like the silhouettes of it,also gemsbok in the same area and a genet in a tree which did'nt want to come out and play.
Hartmann zebra's, herd of eland,scrub hare and another genet complete the list.

On the other side of Kukurasiep the sun starts to set,also giraffes in this area.

In Oranjekom area a herd of gemsbok and at Holombacht a herd of springbok.
On my way back genet and scrub hare.

Sightings from the 16/12
We saw this at the bottom of the Black Ridges on our way in,very hard to spot so have to drive to Echo corner to have a better look.

Two family groups of Hartmann zebra's, a large herd of eland,one calf was suckling on her mother and some others was busy breaking down branches from a tree.
Giraffes also in the same area and klipspringers in the area of the Black Ridges.
Scrub hare and red rock rabbit as well.

4 kudu bulls and a large herd of eland in the above area,also a red hartebees just came running pass us and A family group of Hartmann zebra's in the same area as well.
Then a small herd of kudu cows close to Holombacht waterhole and two genets in a tree in this area as well followed by another 3 sightings of genet. Scrub hare,red rock rabbit and night jar as well.
More eland on our way back.

Morning all
Yesterday at around 5 we receives 36mm of rains and around 7 it had cleared with some rains still falling in the southern side of the area.
Off we go, just hoping the wind direction remains the same.

We had one's again a large herd of eland, small herd of springbok and giraffes, and suddenly chance of wind direction and it starts to rain,just turn around there and heading back to camp, but for the whole drive it soak.
We was wet,wet,wet.
Close to the restcamp we had two sightings of spotted eagle owl,one had caught a prey.

Well I had enjoy the shower,after the heat it really felt good.

@ Pumbaa,thanks a lot that avatar is also special to me,and with the recent rains is actually good because I'm busy with a photographic guide of plants for the Park.

The following is sightings from the 20/12
A lot of pools was created after the rains,springbok drinking and two separate family groups of Hartmann zebra together with a herd of springbok and giraffes all in the same area.

Sightings from 21/12
Klipspringers at the bottom of the Black Ridges and a chance to smell the good and the bad between Boscia foetiida and Commiphora,herd of eland on the bottom of the Black Ridges and scrub hare close to fonteintji, another herd of gemsbok close to Holombacht,night jar and spotted eagle owl as well. African wildcat in the area of Holombacht.

So we had everything almost in one place last night, herd of eland,giraffes,steenbok and springbok.
Close to Holombacht 2 groups of Hartmann zebra's and night jar.
A few images:Also think Saraf will like this, if I can recall there was a question for zebra's at night time.
