Good morning all!
What a drive I had last night, at first a territorial gemsbok in the area of Moonrock followed by lots of scrub hare, also red rock rabbits on 4 different occasions and while driving down the Black Ridges this porcupine was running next to the truck with klipspringers also close by.

Thanks to Coenrad Morgan for the pic, unfortunately it was so fast, not the whole pic but what a nice sighting for my guests.

Then 2 separate pairs of klipspringers again further and a small herd of gemsbok and springbok in the area of Holombacht area. Also lot of night jar in this area.

On my way back a scrub hare was running in front of the vehicle and at the same time we spotted 2 kudu bulls, it was so funny as we stop the scrub hare also stop, only to sit and wait after we proceed it starts running again. Close to the restcamp a herd of eland and giraffes and a quick sighting of a genet.

Yeah I know AG, but I CEO is STILL on my 'to see' list........

You sometimes think that scrub hares have a suicide wish.

Morning all
Eland was scattered last night and we found some of them close to the restcamp and through out the drive, also a nice sighting of a genet lying on a rock boulder for less than a minute.
Scrub hare's, as usual, this one in Kukurasiep dry river bed.

On my way back african wildcat and 4 kudu's in the area of the Black ridges.
Another genet at the end of the drive as well as night jar.

@ anne marie, I think the following will make you more

Giraffes close to the restcamp, and scrub hare's, lot of them and becomes really entertaining, the one was sitting next to a rock and in it's haste to get away just bump into the rock and back.
A red hartebees in front of the Black Ridges,african wildcat and spotted eagle owl as well

A porcupine was hard on the work to find the roots of Boscia sp. I have took some pics not of the best but we spent some time with it,was also hiding a bit.

In the area of Holombacht we found a small herd of gemsbok a steenbok,Hartmann zebra's,giraffes and nightjar's, a african wildcat as well.
On my way back another young porcupine,eland and another african wildcat.

Morning all
A herd of eland in Kukurasiep dry river bed and we only heard the sound of a night jar, after a while we spotted another very close to the road. A red rock rabbit in the area of the Black Ridges with lots of scrub hare on the drive.In the area of fonteintjie a family group of klipspringers.
Close to the area of Holombacht a stripe pole cat and at the waterhole self a steenbok.

On my way back more eland and a gemsbok ,and in the same area as the previous night on the same spot the same porcupine was still busy digging for roots,unfortunately to quick for a decent pic.
More eland at Oranjekom waterhole and a spotted eagle owl close to the road in Moonrock area.

Close to the restcamp a herd of eland with lot of youngsters and a african wildcat at the low water bridge.

Morning all
Giraffes was walking towards us at Moonrock and gemsbok has been saw at many occasions with youngsters as well.
Scrub hare and nightjar as well.

The following was the sightings from 05/11
Giraffe bull seen at Moonrock and scrub hare and nightjar in the same area(Kukurasiep).
Genet and porcupine in fonteintjie area.
Klipspringers and steenbok in the area of Holombacht. Red rock rabbit on my way back and more klipspringers and a genet.
Gemsbok in front of the Black Ridges and a aardwolf in the area of Oranjekom.
