Last night was cloudy,but unfortunately no rain.
The following was spotted, hartmann zebras,springbok,eland,gemsbok,klipspringers,african wildcat,striped polecat,leopard tortoise and nightjars.

The following was spotted last night:genet,spotted eagle owl,eland,gemsbok,klipspringer and srcub hare.

We had a nice 9mm of rains last night.
The following was spotted on the 12,
eland,springbok,klipspringer,gemsbok,hartmann zebra,scrub hare,genet and nightjars.

Last night sightings:A lot of nocturnal animals,porcupine,genet,striped polecat,scrub hare and red rock rabbit as well as nightjars.
Other game includes giraffe,eland,gemsbok,springbok and klipspringer.

18/12/2010- not much was seen only eland,scrub hare and nightjars
19/12/2010- much more than the previous night,hartmann zebra,giraffe, eland,red-hartebees,steenbok,klipspringer,scrub hare,genet and nigthjars.
Just came back from a drive,giraffes,eland, springbok,klipspringers,genet,spotted-eagle owl and nightjars.
Have meet Micetta,she said that the Dassie trail was nice,unfortunately she could not go on a morning drive as some of the people has cancelled.

Thank you Moose,I"m still dependant on the reception and we are quite busy here in the park.
21/12- The following were sighted,hartmann zebra,gemsbok,eland,springbok,red rock rabbit,scrub hare,african wildcat,spotted eagle owl
22/12-not much were seen,springbok,klipspringer,gemsbok

Good evening all
Last night I've go out earlier as some of my guest was early,we have spotted a pair of black eagles in the area of the Black ridges.
Normaly I will drive for approximately 12km before seeing game,what I also want to say is the comment giving by a tourist that for such a arid area they feel that they are priviledge to see so much,not to mention the nice scenery.
The following was spotted,Family group of Hartmann zebra's and a red-hartebees in the area of Holombacht,this is close to a water hole,gemsbok,springbok,scrub hare and spotted eagle owl was also seen.

Good morning all
A nice cool and cloudy day from Augrabies,we have temperatures of around 40degrees, so this is a temporaly relief.
Also a lot of visitors comimg to see the Falls,a lot of water,current flow is arond 1187 cumecs but will lesson for the coming days according to Department of water affairs.
Last night sightings
Porcupine,eland,hartmann zebra,springbok,klipspringer,gemsbok,scrub hare, spotted eagle owl,nightjars.

Seems like the porcupine is spotted quite regularly!
Do you have any pictures of how the falls currently look like?

Nina we were very lucky to see that porcupine,you have to look so fast due to the area in which it was spotted.

Last night sightings
Giraffes were spotted in the area close to a waterhole(Holombacht)
Other species were gemsbok,springbok,klipspringer,scrub hare and nightjars.
