We have booked a second trip to Kalagadi for next March ,13 - 25, all wilderness camps again. And we haven't even been on the first trip yet!!! Anyway we know we will love it but although this September should be fairly reasonable re high temperatures we are a bit concerned re March. Does anyone have any experience of the kind of weather we might get in March, or September come to that. I was thinking of getting a battery operated fan to take. Thanks all Pen :gflower:

September 2011 we had average 28c by day, and 14c by night............it was very pleasant.
Don't know about March.
Whatever the weather......enjoy!!!!

March is in the rainy season, but it can get quite hot if it doesn't rain.

40 degrees is not impossible.

Thanks, so a fan would be a good idea. I was hoping to see some storms brewing as the photographs I have seen are amazing with the lightening etc. Pen

All wilderness camps have fans, except KTC. Please remember there is no electrical plug point for you to plug in your own fan.

Enjoy the trip, March is a stunning month to visit Kgalagadi!!
