Thank you Wendzh, you had a great trip and super photos.

A quick update from our side, got back on Sunday 29 September after 2 weeks ( TR 2, MM 5,TR 1, Nossob 6, TR 1)

Witnessed the "first rains on 25th" and the Springbok started lambing within 48 hrs, well worthwhile seeing that ! Lots of fawns, but even more to come over the next few weeks.

Ratels galore especially around Marie's and North of Nossob.

Great lions mating at Nossob, on airstrip and hide, the Kwang Pride were active and killed a gemsbok 4 km north of the waterhole ( we tured round at 3 km - ouch !!!). Some good lion reported at Polentswa and Bedinkt.

Meercats between Leeudril and Rooiputs, Spotted hyena den 21km north of TR ( RHS) , Nossob side, and 8 km North of Urikaruus (LHS) on the Auob side. ( killed 2 gemsbok while we were there).
There was a mother cheetah and 3 adolescents near Auchterlonie on Sat 28th, youngsters trying to stalk the Springbok down the middle of the riverbed...

If I were there this week I would want to be between Urikaruus and Houmoed- seems like the most Springbok and bound to be some action !!!

A huge thank you to Alrin for welding our broken leafspring @ TR. It got us safely hope. Baie Dankie Meneer.

Watch out for a Cape cobra in the southern most tree at Lijersdraai, it made it's appearance shortly after we left with our 3 kids on the 26th !!

Enjoy guys and gals.

The following day they brought down a springbok around 10:45 am right next to the road, 1km south of Auchterlonie.
Looking forward to KTP - Sep 2015

Thanks cruisa,
At least my conscience was clear that we were not on the " wrong road" at the time. Leafspring cancelled our morning drive.
Glad you got to see them.
I also heard of a ? flamingo near/ north of Leeudril, any other reports ???
