Morning all,

The last 3 game drives from Twee Rivieren was very good at the following was seen:

Plenty Lions,
Cheetah,
Leopard,
Striped Polecat,
Porcupine,
Brown hayena
Eland (Live & dead)
Caracal
General game

This morning TR was a bit chilly and cloudy. Went up to about 32 degrees (not too warm). This evening is a bit windy.

Main sightings from today

Samevloeiing:
- Cape fox den
- Porcupine

Leeudril:
- Cape fox den

Melkvlei:
- Two beautiful male lions.

Gunong:
- Bat-eared fox

Kameelsleep:
- Large herd of gemsbok (aprox. 100!)
- 5 Eland (alive and running!)

Kamqua:
- 2 Male lions (one with collar)

Currently watching a goat strolling in front of our chalet!! :hmz:

That goat was mulling around 2 weeks ago too...often chased by a Sanparks employee...good fun! :clap:

Lions at Kij Kij. Bee Eater nest in the side of the road near Kamfersboom parents feeding the baby all the time.

We had a day of weird and wonderful sightings!!

- Honey Badger carrying her little one in her mouth (Leeudril)
- Tawny eagle (sitting on the ground) with two pale goshawks launching arial attacks on the eagle - for no apparent reason. (Rooiputs)
- 3 young male lions at Kij Kij.
- 9 lions at Kij Gamies (disappearing over the dunes)
- A beautiful blacked-maned lion with one female (Kij Gamies)
- Honey badger crossing the road (Kij Gamies)
- Bee-eaters feeding their young.

The afternoon was marked by dust storms, distant dark blue clouds and the smell of rain in the air. And to end the day, a perfect rainbow across TR!

It is days like these that make me fall in love with this "weird" place all over again!!
