What I will do on this tread is to update the guests as frequent as possible on sightings from the Wilderness camps as well as from the game drives/walks, 4x4 trail.

It is difficult to get updates from the outside camps, but it will give our visitors an idea of what to see on what activities and what is going on at what camps, so please bare with me until such a time I get these reports streamlined.

GROOTKOLK:
This last week the sightings was good at the camp, a group of 6 lions are hanging around the camp (and stealing the camps kettles), there is also a male leopard and a female with a cub seen. I have also been informed of a Cheetah with three cubs which visit the waterhole on a frequent basis.

BITTERPAN:

There is a huge male leopard that comes and drinks water at the water point next to the attendants accommodation, so be on the lookout for that.

Its only a pleasure to 'try' and keep you updated with what has been seen and where. Im still trying to streamline the collecting of the sightings but it will get better.

Will be great to meet you when you at the park, just ask the reception to give me a call and I will try and get there.

Twee Rivieren Game Drive:

Although we didn’t see lions, cheetahs or leopards we had great sightings which included Bat eared foxes chasing each other around, African wild cat busy hunting, Jackal, Owls and the special moment was a Brown hyena drinking water. We stayed for about 20 minutes with the hyena who was not bothered about the vehicle and camera flashes.

KG thanks for the updates on game in the TR area.
We'll be in TR for a few nights from 3 Oct. We'll most certainly like to do a sunset/night drive. Would be nice to say "hi".

Tony,

Would be great to meet face to face, we will definately get together during your stay in KTP.

Im still just trying to streamline the feedback from the other camps as well as the Wilderness camps regarding their sightings. Give it a month or so then I will be able to report back on the other camps activities as well.

I forgot to mention that with the last report on the Twee Rivieren sightings a Stripe Polecat was also spotted.

There are currently a pride of 7 lions haning around Twee Rivieren, unfortunately they were not spotted on the game drives but by some general staff behind the staff accomodation.

Pleasure,

Just had a look on the sightings board, there were 3 sightings of caracal in the Auob riverbed before Aucterlonie.

Will do.
The lions would be great but the caracals - well that really would be special. But I don't mind what I see - its just the joy of being there. :D

Now that is the way to go. Don’t go to a park with any expectations for if you don’t see what you expected you will be disappointed. Go to a park with the expectations then everything will be a bonus and Mother Nature will reward you with great sightings from big to small.
