Kgalagadi - Night Time Temperatures

Unread postby chrispie » Tue Apr 08, 2014 9:34 am

Goodday,

I've booked a campsite for the first week of May 2014.

I'd like to know how cold it gets at night.

Thanks

Chris.

Welcome to the forum Chrispie.

Do you have a brass monkey?

Whatever (according to BB): "You are correct but I don't want to admit it".

Chris we have had nights in May where you can wear shorts and a t shirt, but then also nights when even our toothpaste froze. Better to be prepared for cold nights( but nice warm days) than to freeze your butt off
Enjoy

I agree with GavinW - be prepared for anything and rather be safe than sorry! Weather can be so unpredictable and there doesn't seem to be a "normal" any more. We went one May and I seem to remember good weather and no really cold nights, but you never know.
Enjoy your trip!
