Good idea but not a new one for Twee Rivieren...they used to do a big take-away menu in the Mid 90's and you could order well after dark as well!!

Hi Nina

A vetkoek is a fat cake - vet = fat and koek = cake .... actually its a bread dough thats made into a large ( well at TR they are humungous ) flat patty and then fried - they are then cut open and filled with stuff - tradionally curry mince ( not mice, sorry :redface: ) - the ones made at TR are delicious believe me ..... and the Kalahari Vetkoek is filled with a burger patty, fried egg, cheese, bacon, lettuce and tomato :tongue:
