If no one comes up with the #'s, you might try to
take a look at the following map book;

Good touring, Daan

Hi Daan,

Thanks for the info - will definitely try that if all else fails. You can get the same maps locally from Andrew St.Pierre White's site - i.e. www.4xforum.co.za (then goto 'maps'). He sells them at a very reasonable price (and some very nice other products as well).

Go well.

I have an older copy(2002) of these maps. The drumstick coordinates are not on it. The tracks on these maps are also fairly outdated. Maybe the 'newer' maps is updated. I have the maps from Surveys and Mapping and with some of my own GPS trackdata managed to compile it on a more updated map. I will try to export the data to a Google Earth compatible file. PM me for the info.

I have the GPS coordinates of all the major intersections.

Emile, unfortunately we did not mark the exact spot, but it is in the vicinity of S28 18'48.46" E17 17'09.21" (WGS84)

Thanks a lot Jaco I think this should be good enough. With a bit of luck we should find it. Will "update" when we come back.

Regards

Emile

Hi - you'll find campsites and the rustic cottage on T4A at
S29.15168 E24.30958

Hope you enjoy - we had a wonderful couple of nights there in April 08. One of the friendliest parks we've visited for ages. The staff really do try.
