Hi wanderw

Thanks for the ref for the male. I certainly think this is a female, other that a few stills of her lying down drinking, I have video footage of her walking, and .......uuuuuuum.......i have done my best to check under the tail... :redface: :redface: .....nothing significant! I also don't have a clear view of her face, so won't be able to match up spots. :hmz:

@Jo - :redface: Apologies for the misunderstanding - I was not doubting that you saw the female, just letting you know that there is also a male leopard that hangs around Urikaruus. On our April 2008 trip, I think we also saw the female one night, we also have video footage, so quality is not clear enough for a definite ID.

@Salva and Rusty Justy - The birdbath is in front of the tourism attendant's unit and a few forumites have seen the leopard drinking there, and taken a pic. I will try to find one ( :wall: can't remember what thread it was on offhand) and let you know if I do.

Cool beans wanderw, didn't think you were doubting - was just thinking: its amazing how difficult some thing that would seem so easy such as determining an animals sex, can keep you stumped!! still not 100% sure it was female :redface: :redface: :redface: Hopefully someone can send in a pic that could confirm the 2.....anyway, sounds like a good excuse to head back to KTP!!!! :D :D :D :wink:

@droopy - I think you might have the best chance of seeing a leopard at TR!(3 leopards have been seen around there recently) :thumbs_up:

@Jaraheckes - Welcome to the forum! :D
See the following link explaining how to resize pictures and then upload them -

(I use Irfanview to resize pix(640x480) and then Photobucket to host them)
