No macro lens eos5d.
In 2007 I had a Panasonic bridge camera and I took some risks with this close up :big_eyes: (Should have been wearing an helmet :lol: )
It's easier(and less risky) now with my 7D and 100-400 lens

RoelfA...indeed believe this is the first sighting uploaded of the Abdim's Stork (think my ID is correct) on the KTP galleries that I seen...so rare sighting and a superb pose,comp and image plus taken at the Nossob hide make this a winner!! :clap: :clap:

Abdims is not a rare KTP bird if your timing is right. In Feb a huge flock of them is often seen, sometimes on the Nossob webcam. I have also seen them near 2R.
