Thanks Bush Baptist,

Was pretty surprised when we spotted it on our last morning, saw the Gabar Goshawk soon after and mistaken it for the African Cuckoo Hawk due to the similarities between the Gabar Goshawk and the African Cuckoo...

Wow there are some great photos in this thread! And I love that the larks and pipits and cisticolas are not being overlooked. (Anne-marie your ID skills amaze me!! :D )

Here are two of my best point-and-shoot efforts, not a patch on the other photos here, but I hope you like them!

Fledgling spotted eagle owl feeling a bit hot- found him while looking for the leopard Meira at Montrose last summer (I think a lot of people saw these guys)
