I finished All Things Wild and Wonderful last night. Personally I don't think they should have been allowed to raise Leo in the Park. Other than that it is just as good as Mahlangeni with some wonderfully funny episodes. What a way to make a living!

To be hounest i prefered Mahlangeni

I loved it so much!!

When my liberian gave it to me to read i said to myself in a sarcastic manner "this is going to be interesting"

Turned out it was one of the best books i had read and once i started it i could not put it down!!!!! :D

Been reading "The Wilderness Family". Great reading and has many funny episodes. Will be looking for the other books.

I have the dutch version of 'The wilderness family' and I read it twice now. Is Mahlangeni just as good and does anyone knows if there is a dutch version, (or where I can find an english one here in Holland?)

Loning to read more about their adventures

Wow! I was amazed to read this thread!

My dad helped Kobie to translate Boskonsert to Mahlangeni in 1992... I was 8 years old, and it was a remarkable experience to stay with a game ranger's family... We saw Leo a lot, too, getting frequently "mauled" as he grew up. Kobie's books are incredibly special to me - its great to see that others love them, too. :)

I have a question,

Is the Wilderness familey and All things wild and wonderful the same book?
