Wild Company

Unread postby AdP » Fri Apr 29, 2011 2:09 pm

Hi everyone

I'm currently reading Gus Adendorff's Wild Company.

At the back of the book there is a seven single gramaphone record which contains some of Gus' recordings of lion language.

Does anyone perhaps have this on a CD or mp3 format? Would love to listen to it but can't play the old record.

Thanks

I have two books titled "Wild Company", the one by oom Gus Adendorff and then another which was published in 1945 by the Pittman Press, Bath for Howard B Timmins with a foreword by T V Bulpin.
This book was sold by Vanity Fair Booksellers Union Buildings, Commissioner Street Johannesburg.
The front cover is signed : C.V. Lowe 12.1.1954.
It has many black and white photographs of our game animals with a bit of a write up about the specific animal.
Another of my treasures.
I participate because I care - CUSTOS NATURAE

No to Legalized Rhino and Lion trade.
Done 144 visits to National Parks.
What a wonderful privilege.
