Thanks for posting this clip Marijke... make me just the more anxious to read this book!

I have just started reading The Elephant Whisperer and I am hooked! Fantastic writing and awesome content that is filled with emotion that you can feel with the turn of every page.

The cover is great! Nothing like a baby elephant to put a smile on your face.

I started my copy last night. Thought I would read a few pages before "lights out". 1 1/2 hours later..... am a bit tired at work today......

Bought the book on Saturday afternoon and finished it yesterday. I could not put it down, there was always something intriguing. Loved it. The insight into Zulu culture was also very informative.

The book made me think: what is our role on earth really? Where do we fit in? I am sure there is another way of living, i.e. closer to nature and more in tune with the creatures roaming this earth. Maybe it explains that feeling of 'coming home' when driving through the gates at Kruger. Just made me wonder...

Finished my copy Saturday night - was very lonely last night going to bed without my ellie book! Super read!!

Was also given a copy for my birthday. Great reading. Finished it within 3 days.

Quite informative and full of anecdotes.

I was also given a copy of "Game Ranger in Your Backpack" by Megan Emmett and Sean Pattrick. Full of information and worth a read.

I also have read this wonderful book now and as everybody else I can highly reccommend it
It's exciting and can teach you a lot (not only about Ellies)!

A friend of my brother lent him The Elephant Whisperer and he finished reading it and told me to buy a copy. My copy is sitting on my book shelve now waiting eagerly to be read...just need to finish Bruce Brydon's A Game Ranger Remembers.
