Enjoy his books - in fact re-reading Far Horizon at the moment and the SO has got into them as well (Silent Predator) - and she does'nt normally read this type of yarn.

They are good yarns and very easy reading. Was hoping the next one would be out before I fly in July

Still working my way around the forum, but already I'm addicted. It's so nice to find so many people so addicted to the natural beauty of such a great country.

I'm lucky that my "job" allows me to spend exteded periods in South Africa's national parks. For the record, after having travelled extensively around southern, central and East Africa, whenever anyone asks me I always say that South Africa has the best national parks and game reserves on the continent in terms of game, value-for-money, management and, most important of all, friendliness.

Look forward to spending more time here... and, of course, in the bush.

Looking forward to you sharing some of your experiences with the community!

I have read Far Horizon, Zambezi and African Sky and thoroughly enjoyed them all. I have only just discovered that there are two more: Safari and Silent Predator and am off to the book store on Monday to see if I can get them.

African Sky was particularly interesting in that I used to work for an Air vice-Marshall who was Australian-born and was seconded to Rhodesia during the Second World War. He then became part of the Rhodesian Air Force where he rose to his rank of AvM.

Tony Park's books are well-researched and his stories very believable.

Tony - keep writing!!

I bought "Silent Predator" in Skukuza and was highly surprised about the book. Tony, you have got a new fan. Looking forward to the other books.

I have enjoyed ALL Tony's books. I am a regular bookworm and have read all of this authors books. I reccommend them Great reading
